There once was a young girl who dreamed of being a princess. She thought she just needed the right dress-up clothes to play the part. But she finds the true princess within after Grandpa lovingly takes her on a photo journey down memory lane, showing her that what makes a princess is not what she wears on her back, but what she wears in her heart.
About the Author
Heidi acquired a love of reading in elementary school, eagerly anticipating the bookmobile’s visits to her childhood home in windswept rural Nevada. She welcomed the challenge of her classes in English and literature. As a parent, some of her fondest memories are the time set aside each and every day for storytime with her son. Today, she carries on the tradition with her young granddaughter.
Heidi and her husband, Jon, live in northern Nevada, where they enjoy the high desert and beautiful Sierra Nevada landscapes.
